WHAT LIGHT, WHAT VAST WINGS COMING FAST UNTO THE NIGHT
When we had finished our prayers and viewed the spectacle, we turned in the direction of the City.
- Plato
Saga City is an online journal run by a crew of poets & writers from around the country. This space is their effort towards cultivating art together.

We are looking for the city, the ideal & the real. Artists are the voice of the world that is & the world as it might yet be. We build together the city we desire, & in that city we shall raise such a cry, we shall raise such monuments to our art, we shall raise such hell. We want the queer & the messy & the salvation language brings even as everything around us shatters. We want the work you believe in & the work you take a risk on & the work you needed to exorcise from yourself. We want sagas the city sings into lights.
